At Home FSH Test Kit reagent is exposed to urine, allowing it to migrate through an absorbance test kit. The labeled antibody dye conjugate binds to FSH in the sample to form an antibody antigen complex. When the FSH concentration is equal to or greater than 25mIU/ml, the complex binds to the anti FSH antibody in the test area (T) and generates a red line. In the absence of FSH, there are no lines in the test area (T). The reaction mixture continues to flow through the test zone (T) and the control zone (C) past the absorption device. The unbound complexes combine with the reagents in the control zone (C), forming a red line, indicating that the test card is functioning properly.

SPECIMEN
First morning urine is unsuggested. Urine collected at other time of day (10am~8pm) may be used. The urine specimen must be collected in a clean, dry container either plastic or glass.
Interpretation of Results

Positive Negative Invalid
Positive: Two distinct red lines will appear, one in the test region (T) and another in the control region (C). FSH content equal to or higher than 25mIU/ml, may be during ovulation or menopause, or endocrine disorders.
Negative: Only one red line appears in the control region (C). No apparent line in the test region (T). FSH content below 25mIU/ml, no longer ovulating or menopausal.
Invalid: The result is invalid if no red line appears in the control region (C), even if a line appears in the test region (T). In any event, repeat the test. If the problem persists, discontinue using the lot immediately and contact your local distributor.
NOTE: Clear background in the Result Window can be seen as a basis for effective testing. If the test line is weak, it is recommended that the test be repeated with the first morning specimen obtained 48-72 hours later. No matter how the test results, it is recommended to consult your physician.
Limitations and Possible Errors
Follicle Stimulating Hormone FSH Test kit should be stored at 2-30°C until the expiry date printed on the sealed pouch.
The test must remain in the sealed pouch until use. Do not freeze.

FAQ
Q:
What is a FSH test at home?
A: At-home test kits that measure FSH levels in urine (pee) may help women find out if menopause or perimenopause is causing symptoms, such as irregular periods, vaginal dryness, or hot flashes. Home tests can only find higher than normal FSH levels.
Q: Are at home FSH tests accurate?
A: At-home menopause tests check the levels of FSH in the urine. However, because FSH levels fluctuate during a woman's cycle, it's not possible to get an accurate snapshot of someone's menopause status by checking these hormones.
Q: How to read at home FSH test?
A: Results from the FSH test sticks must be read within 8 minutes of testing. Two lines indicate a positive result, no matter how faint or dark the lines are. One line indicates a negative result. A control line must always be seen in the control window to indicate the test has worked.
Q: Is there an over the counter FSH test?
A: Simple Steps, Clear Results: Easy@Home FSH test strip is a rapid, one-step, visual test for the qualitative detection of Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH) in human urine. It is intended for self-testing at home.
Q: Will a FSH test show menopause?
A: The tests show whether you have higher FSH levels. This might mean that you're in perimenopause or menopause. But FSH levels rise and fall during your menstrual cycle. So home FSH tests can't really tell you whether you're in menopause.
Q:What is the best time to do a FSH test?
A:By measuring a woman's baseline FSH on day 3 of the cycle (we do it on day 2, 3, or 4), we get an indication as to whether she has normal "ovarian reserve". We are looking at how hard her body needs to "step on the gas" early in the menstrual cycle to get a follicle growing.
