Description

The Benzo Drug Test is a rapid urine‐screening test that can be performed without the use of an instrument. The test utilizes the antibody to selectively detect elevated levels of Benzodiazepines in urine. The Benzodiazepines (BZO) Rapid Test (Urine) yields a positive result when the Benzodiazepines in urine exceeds the cut‐off level. This assay provides only a qualitative, preliminary analytical test result. A more specific alternate chemical method must be used in order to obtain a confirmed analytical result.

SPECIMEN COLLECTION AND STORAGE

● Easy operation for laymen

● Multiple specifications are available

● Easy sample acquisition

PRECAUTIONS

● The urine specimen must be collected in a clean and dry container. Urine collected at any time of the day may be used. Urine specimens exhibiting visible particles should be centrifuged, filtered, or allowed to settle to obtain clear specimen for testing.

● Pack the specimens in compliance with applicable regulations for transportation of etiological agents, in case they need to be shipped.

● Collected urine specimens must be put in clear and dry containers.

FAQ

Q: How does your factory control product quality?

A: We strictly follow the ISO:13485 QMS.
R&D team devoted to the technology development.
Skillful workers stick to the standard operation procedure.
Quality Control department carefully inspect the production and package process.

Q: How is the accuracy?

A: The accuracy of the Benzodiazepines (BZO) Rapid Test (Urine) was compared and checked against commercially available tests with a threshold value at the same cut-off levels. Urine samples taken from volunteers claiming to be non-users were examined under both tests. The results were >99.9% in agreement.

Q: How is the precision?

A: Test precision was determined by blind tests with control solutions. Controls with Benzodiazepines concentrations at 50% of the cut-off yielded negative results, and controls with Benzodiazepines concentrations at 150% of the cut-off yielded positive results.

Q: How to maintain the stability of test kits?

A: ● The kit should be stored at 2-30°C until the expiry date printed on the sealed pouch.
● The test must remain in the sealed pouch until use.
● Do not freeze.
● Cares should be taken to protect components in this kit from contamination. Do not use if there is evidence of microbial contamination or precipitation. Biological contamination of dispensing equipments, containers or reagents can lead to false results.

Q: What are the factors that affect detection?

A: ● Specific benzo: Different benzodiazepines have different half-lives, meaning they stay in the system for different lengths of time.
● Dosage and frequency: Higher doses and more frequent use will result in longer detection times.
● Metabolism: An individual's metabolic rate can affect how quickly their body processes and eliminates the drug.

Q: What drugs test positive for benzos?

A: Some over-the-counter (OTC) medications trigger false positive results for benzodiazepines on drug tests. The most frequent drugs include antihistamines such as Benadryl, sleep aids that contain doxylamine succinate, and some cold and flu medications.
